As we close out our last conversation in the Acts series (till March) Chris leads us through the end of Acts 4:31-37 focusing in on the idea that "They had no need among them."

As we slowly approach a pause in our Origins Series, in this conversation Chris leads us through Acts 4:23-31, a beautiful narrative, where we examine the response of the early church after Peter and John are released from prison.  As we said earlier, after next Sunday we will be taking a break from our Origins Series and using the first few months of the new year to discuss and elaborate on the Holy Spirit. This will give us a great foundation for when we come back to Acts chapter 5 after Easter.

This past Sunday we did something a little different!Terry lead us through Acts 4:1-22 and then we broke out into groups and discussed the passage through the lens of these two questions: 1. What do you find inspiring, provocative, subversive, instructive, and/or informative about this narrative - not just the historical part, but its application to you personally?2. What is the one thing from this text that the Holy Spirit is highlighting for you to engage with (grow, change, get rid of, etc) - personally or as a community?
It was a beautiful time of discussion and meeting around the table together. We highly encourage you to take some time to work through these questions.
